We are asking for files to be prepared in a
professional manner as this will yield the best results. Please consult a
knowledgeable designer in preparing your digital files. Orders received varying
from these specifications may be subject to delays and/or additional charges.

accept files as an attachment to E-mail, FTP (File Transfer Protocol), 100mb Zip, 250mb Zip, 1gig Jazz, C.D. Rom and 1.4mb floppy disks. We
archive files for up to 2 years for reorders. Please retain a complete
copy as back up files corrupt and or get lost. Label your case and
disk with your company name.
the files required to assemble your document
on a disk, CD Rom, WinZip or Stuffed folders. This will include all
Document Layout, Images and Fonts. Do
not include any un-used files or fonts. Provide a printed directory
listing all files and all fonts used.
prefer a Mac based platform but some P.C. platforms are acceptable provided they
are built in a specific program. Your document size should be the same size as
the page saved at 100 percent. Do not stylize the fonts. Use only the fonts you
supply (i.e. italic, bold etc). DO NOT USE KEY BOARD FUNCTIONS. All colors are to be built as CMYK values. No
RGB or SPOT colors.
MAC- Quark, Photo Shop, Illustrator, In Design, Page Maker,
Free Hand and High Resolution PDF.
P.C.- Quark, Corel Draw,
In Design, Photo Shop, Publisher and High Resolution PDF.
If you are providing a PDF, it needs to have all fonts
embedded to press settings / high resolution.
All images are to be save as CMYK values as TIFF, Jpeg
or EPS. Do not save as RGB. The resolution of each image should
be a minimum of 300 D.P.I. at their final size used in your brochure. Do not resample to get 300
DPI resolution. All images are to be updated and linked.
laying out your document with a bleed, include 1/8" bleed on all 4 sides.
Keep the document size at the trim size of the brochure. Add 1/8" bleed to
the color box or image allowing it to overhang the document by the 1/8”. Only
use 1/8" bleeds. For Photo Shop, add the bleed to the document size.
CHECK YOUR FILES:
check your files. If Files submitted are not conforming, we will
quote you a price for fixing the files (if possible) or you may send us a new
file. Files not prepared properly will not be put into production until they are
We print using a direct to print process. A
digital laser, inkjet printout or PDF is to be submitted with your files and
MUST be of the final files. We do not proof read your document. If
you do not supply a printout, you accept full responsibility for the printing
outcome. If you desire a PDF proof prior to printing, please ask for a PDF
proof in the "Other Information" section on the order form.
Otherwise, the order goes direct to print.

Simply Brochures will not check for color accuracy for files to printout.
(Example: If your monitor and printout shows a dark blue with a CMYK color value
of 100M, 80C and it prints a dark purple, it is a result of the file.
100M, 80C will produce a dark purple.) DO NOT TRUST THE COLORS ON YOUR
MONITOR. CHECK ALL COLOR BUILDS AGAINST A CMYK COLOR GUIDE.
there is a critical color match on your printed brochure, an accurate proof
MUST be supplied with your order.
We print directly from your files and printouts to SWOP
ink and density standards.
50% payment is required with order submission.
Balance due prior to shipping. A completed and signed order form must
accompany your order. To keep our prices well below market, we do
not extend payment terms. If you require 30 days to pay, we accept
MasterCard, Visa or American Express. If you are paying by credit card, it
is understood that the balance plus freight and applicable tax will also be
charged to that same credit card.
All goods will be shipped at your expense via
UPS or a common carrier.
We can ship a partial or
all your brochures via UPS Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3rd Day service provided
arrangements are made 2 days in advance of projected ship date. Air
freight is charged at published rate with handling and insurance included.
If you require your order sent to two or more locations or some ground and some
air freight, there will be a $2.00 charge for each additional shipping
SHIP IN CONFIDENCE:
If you are having us drop ship to your client and you require source confidence,
please check the appropriate box on the
CALIFORNIA STATE SALES
All orders shipped inside California will be charged California State Sales Tax
at the destinations taxing authority rate unless an original resale certificate
is received with your order. Faxed copies are not accepted.
Every effort will be made to produce your printed goods to the highest
standards. We employ the latest technology and equipment in producing all of our
printed material. If for some reason you are not satisfied, and we concur with
your finding, we will reprint your job at no charge to you. Because printed
goods are custom in nature, there are no refunds.
It is understand that if you or your representative prepares digital files, the
file specifications listed in this agreement will be followed. If file
errors are found, your project will not be put into process until the files are
